Whatever your take is on RBG, it's clear that she's become a progressive icon - and we're all about progressive icons! So in June, Toy company FCTRY took to Kickstarter to launch their new RBG Action Figure.

A collaboration with FCTRY, the Ruth Bader Ginsburg Real Life Action Figure became the number-one project on Kickstarter.

Brand Packaging

The image shows the packaging for an RBG action figure based on Ruth Bader Ginsburg, with text describing her as 'The Honorable RBG,' and referencing her advocacy for women's rights and her legal career. The packaging also features the figure's name, a quote, and artwork details.

- When working on packaging projects, a designer usually expects the packaging itself to be a design experience often discarded upon its opening. The particular joy of this project was that the packaging itself was specifically designed with a display purpose in mind, meaning that the figure could be taken out of the box with absolutely no damage to the packaging. The color palate needed to be dignified with a little pop, much like RBG herself. A perfectly packaged home for a pint-sized justice.

After it’s popularity rise on Kickstarter, The RBG Action Figure was featured on several publications like The Hill, CNBC, and Mommy Shorts. And the legend herself even got to meet her mini-me.
